               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Specialty/Clinic Pharmacist<BR> <BR>Department Oupatient Pharmacy<BR> <BR>Location HRC 9D40<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Schedule: Mon - Fri, variable shifts; Salary range: $45.66 - $62.05/hour; Location: variable locations on Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> Reporting to the Specialty Pharmacy Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the provision of specialized clinical and/or MTM services to adult and pediatric patients in an acute care and/or community/ambulatory setting . This position is responsible for the direct clinical supervision of patients, the supervision of support staff and ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and institutional directives. This pharmacist will interact directly with patients, prescribers and care coordinators to develop an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Additionally, the pharmacist will be responsible for the development and implementation of additional Specialty Pharmacy opportunities and will be expected to contribute to the financial viability of the program, department and institution.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy with equivalent experience. Licensure in the State of Oregon. Community pharmacy practice experience and inpatient pharmacy practice experience. Pharmaceutical care principles. Disease related modification of drug therapy. Project management skills and experience in contemporary medication use systems and electronic medical record systems. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Systematic problem solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Competency in patient interviewing and teaching skills. Excellent knowledge of third party payors, insurance billing, and prior authorization guidelines of Specialty Medication. Working knowledge and skill using MS-Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint programs. Sucessfully completes initial and continued competencies as required for maintenance of standard of practice, legal regulatory compliance and OHSU policies. Preferred: Advanced Pharmacy Practice Residency, BCPS or Five (5) years of equivalent experience. Experience in clinical and/or business program development. Direct patient care and medication therapy management experience. State of Oregon Preceptor License.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> The pharmacist will experience competing demands on their time from clinic staff and/or patients and will need to effectively multi-task and prioritize demands. The pharmacist must deal with intense situations on a daily basis. The expectation will be to provide clients with excellent customer service. Additionally, within the healthcare setting there can be a significant lack of control over the work pace, with frequent interruptions (work is often dictated by external factors) that may lead to mental fatigue or stress.
