               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Speech Therapist - Outpatient/Inpatient<BR> <BR>Department Pediatric Rehabilitation Services<BR> <BR>Location OHS 7B30<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> Monday - Friday days, including weekend rotation; 1.0 FTE; Salary Range: $49,831-$79,728 annually. Location: Marquam Hill Campus.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The purpose of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is to function as a member of the patient care team by providing speech/ language pathology services to the pediatric developmental and rehabilitation patient/client population. This position will have competency and experience with assessment and intervention activities for special populations including, but not limited to, autism, pediatric dysphagia, extreme prematurity, congenital brain anomalies, Rett Syndome, etc. The Speech/Language Therapist will evaluate each patient referred, establish effective treatment goals and objectives, develop and implement the treatment plan, providing family and caregiver training as needed, for successful carryover of strategies taught to improve developmental, speech, language, swallowing and cognitive skills of the patient/client. Therapists are expected to supervise students and Clinical Fellows and to assist with other educational and research activities conducted by the department, division, and/ or DCH, CDRC and OHSU hospital.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology. Pediatric development and rehabilitation experience in an outpatient setting. Competency and experience with assessment and intervention activities for complex pediatric populations, including but not limited to autism, pediatric dysphagia, extreme prematurity, congenital brain anomalies, Rett syndrome and other specialty pediatric developmental and rehabilitation patient/client populations. Current Oregon SLP license within one (1) year of appointment. Current BLS certification issured by the American Heart Association. CCC preferred.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Abiity to sit for periods of time. Able to frequently use keyboard and mouse for documentation and communications.
