<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Sr. Tooling Innovation Engineer<BR>Location: OR-Portland<BR>Job Number:_00064834<BR>As our Tooling Innovation Engineer, you will join the team to drive innovative solutions to the manufacturing and tooling problems faced on our research programs. You'll use your extensive tooling, design, and manufacturing background to identify creative solution paths to the given tooling problems and work across a matrix of team members to develop a plan on design and fabrication of said tooling. You'll use concept sketches, engineering design/ideas, and other communication methods to assure clear understanding of the technological capabilities and limitations of the tooling solutions and manufacturing methods. You'll collaborate closely with multiple machine shops to validate delivery timelines, identify cost reduction solutions, and refine the tooling as needed to ensure the designs meet the needs of the research tooling as well as represent a solution that can be implemented on a mass manufacturing scale if needed. In addition, you'll be accountable for remaining connected with state-of-the-art innovations across the materials, tooling design, manufacturing, and mechanical design industry.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Qualifications<BR><BR>? Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.<BR>? 5 years' experience in tooling design, project management, process engineering, or other similar function is required.<BR>? Ability to handle multiple complex projects/programs simultaneously is required.<BR>? Working knowledge of injection mold tool designs is required.<BR>? Working knowledge of cast, direct pour, injection phylon, and compression mold designs is a plus.<BR>? Proficient in using Solidworks, PowerShape, and/or other 3D CAD surfacing software is required.<BR>? Ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and deal with ambiguity is required.<BR>? Ability to work within the Nike matrix, on complex initiatives, and within multiple project teams is required.<BR>? Working knowledge of footwear manufacturing is a plus.<BR>? Experience in product development, manufacturing, machine design, and tooling design is a plus.<BR>? Ability to travel domestically and internationally.<BR>?
