The incumbent is a central member of the research team, who together with the Principal Investigator would steer the long-term direction as well as the day-to-day operation of the research group. The opportunity exists also for the Staff Scientist to conduct his/her own studies in the above research area.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>* PhD in Cell Biology, Immunology or Molecular Biology plus 1 year of post-doctoral experience in the HIV-1 vaccine research field focusing on biolistic delivery of DNA vaccines using gold particles.<BR>* Candidates must have hands on experience with animal models (mouse, rabbit), HIV-1 and SHIV viral cultures, mammalian cell transfection, protein purification, bio-informatics, and molecular biology including cloning of large DNA fragments as well as experience working under biosafety level-3 conditions.<BR>* Applicant must have experience in supervising trainees and research assistants in laboratory research.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
