               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Surgical 'Scrub' Services Technician<BR> <BR>Department CHH Surgery Center<BR> <BR>Location CHH 8011<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Base Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 07:00 - 17:30; Salary Range: $18.39 - $24.92/hour; Location: Center for Health and Healing, South Waterfront.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Surgical Services Technician (SST) assists in accomplishing the patient plan of care by performing delegated duties as a "scrubbed" member of the operating room team in managing instrument exchange with the surgeon and equipment on the sterile field. The ST also assists with the cleaning and maintenance of equipment, supplies and instrumentation in accordance with the established procedures and standards. As a member of the Center for Health and Healing Perioperative Staff, the ST embraces the unit's mission and vision and incorporates OSHU's Core Competencies into daily work activities.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Completion of a Surgical Technology (ST)program from a community college; BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Two (2) years of current experience as a ST in a multi-specialty setting. Current experience in an Ambulatory Surgical setting.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Constant exposure to hospital and surgical environment conditions including exposure to blood and body fluids. Ability to lift, bend stoop, reach, lift up to 40 pounds, carry, push, pull and walk throughout the work period. Must have the ability to stand for at least four continuous hours a day.
