Location: Portland, downtown.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> This position is responsible for providing system support for the development, maintenance and enhancement of research systems, including the Human Subject Compliance System (eIRB), Animal Care System (eIACUC), through testing, problem reporting and analysis, and participation in systems implementation and upgrades. The position works in system design, report development, analyzing system requirements, developing prioritized enhancements, and creating test data and test plans to ensure that new and revised systems meet the customers? needs. This position will work closely with multiple system users in project coordination to document requirements, understand business processes, and facilitate communication.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and four years work related experience in the information technology field; OR Associate's degree in computer science or related field and five years work related experience in the information technology field; OR Six years work related experience in the information technology field; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate's degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.<BR>* Two plus years of experience in web development, database development and design.<BR>* Two plus years of object oriented design and development.<BR>* Experience in designing, implementing and supporting new systems.<BR>* Experience using SDLC or like processes to manage projects.<BR>* Experience in working with legacy databases and current systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MS-Access.<BR>* Experience with Oracle ApEx, and Click Commerce applications and tools - Process Studio, Entity Manager, and Site Designer.<BR>* Experience supporting mission critical data-driven applications.<BR>* Experience providing desktop support, and functioning as a liaison between core technology group and the end user.<BR>* Knowledge of the windows and Oracle development platforms.<BR>* Demonstrated knowledge of static and data-driven web development utilizing Javascript, jQuery, PHP, CSS, C/C++, Visual Basic .Net, ASP.NET, (X)HTML, SQL, PL/SQL, and XML.<BR>* Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills: both written and verbal.<BR>* Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships.<BR>* Ability to work as part of a team.<BR>* Demonstrated excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person.<BR>* Possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.<BR>* Knowledge of systems development life-cycle, testing and production environment procedures.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            </font></td>
