Our primary charter is to maintain, administer and troubleshoot our hosted Production environments.<BR>Functionally, the duties of a Hosted Systems Engineer include the support a large infrastructure of about 500+ physical & virtual Windows OS servers in a multi -tiered, internet facing hosting environment. This position will work with management and team members to develop strategies and initiatives for the Global Hosting Windows Team. Review and discuss technical issues, assess and document recommended changes, SLAs, process and support improvement. Role will provide senior system administration for all customer facing environments in a 24X7 Internet and Hosted Applications services Network Operations Center within Windows/SQL operating environments.<BR><BR>Essential Functions:<BR>&middot; Support production environments including Windows Server 2000-2008, IIS, Java, SQL 2000-2008, Tomcat, Apache, and Oracle.<BR>&middot; Install, administer, and update VMware Clusters and Windows based servers.<BR>&middot; Tactical management of and contribution to team projects, including prioritization and multi-task assignments.<BR>&middot; Ensure operating standards are developed, maintained, and adhere to.<BR>&middot; Analyzes, acquires, installs, modifies and supports Windows operating systems.<BR>&middot; Automation/scripting and systems support activities, including system integration and monitoring.<BR>&middot; Creates and maintains documentation of systems processes and procedures<BR>&middot; Resolves complex requests escalated by junior administrators.<BR>&middot; Serves as a mentor for junior administrators and Tier 1 support.<BR>&middot; Work with various teams to ensure system configurations are in compliance with corporate policies and control standards.<BR>&middot; Works with other team members to identify and suggest service improvements and/or new technology solutions.<BR>&middot; Work with Network and Storage teams to plan and design new server/application implementations<BR>Secondary Functions:<BR>&middot; Continuous learning of system administration topics.<BR>&middot; Function as a liaison between Hosting Operations and other teams within the company, which may include direct or indirect contact with our customers.<BR>&middot; Any and all additional job duties as defined by Hosting management.<BR>Scope and Accountability:<BR>This position will interact primarily with Hosting Engineers and other Engineering teams to exchange issues, obtain technical approaches and understand new methods and standards.<BR>Assignments usually come from the Hosting Management, as well as technical direction from Hosting Engineering and Development Leads.<BR><BR><BR>E                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   </font></td>
