Location: Portland, downtown.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> This position is responsible for performance that promotes excellent customer service and an overall service excellence philosophy. This position will (1) evaluate processes, user requirements, and system functionality to assist in the selection, design, and implementation of complex systems, (2) lead, organize, monitor, and deliver information technology solutions according to project schedule; (3)develop a thorough understanding of business functions (4) perform requirements analysis to help develop enhancements to applications, reports, interfaces, and systems, and (5) monitor information technology output for quality, accuracy, and timeliness. This position will support the Knight Cancer Institute.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and six years work related experience in the information technology field; OR Associate's degree in computer science or related field and seven years work related experience in the information technology field; OR Eight years work related experience in the information technology field; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate's degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.<BR>* Must have experience working as a technical systems application analyst, managing and implementing information system projects.<BR>* Must have experience writing detailed system requirements and business process improvement plans.<BR>* Must have prior experience with implementation of complex enterprise applications and databases; infrastructure setup/configuration projects, quality assurance processes and control.<BR>* Experience managing large scale projects including change management process.<BR>* Experience compiling flowcharts and using flowcharting software (e.g. Visio).<BR>* Experience managing large scale system project implementations, including recognizing, evaluating, and presenting information.<BR>* Must have excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills: both written and verbal.<BR>* Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships.<BR>* Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems.<BR>* Must have demonstrated, excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person.<BR>* Must possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.<BR>* Ability to develop detailed user requirements / specifications documentation supporting complex system enhancements.<BR>* Must have a thorough understanding of data models and database design concepts.<BR>* Must have knowledge of development life-cycle and production environm                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     </font></td>
