We provide a range of domestic and international transactional tax planning services and tax-related advisory services. National Tax includes top tax practitioners--many have held policy-making positions at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and on the staffs of Congressional tax-writing committees. The combination of knowledge and experience forms the basis for National Tax's ability to help clients analyze the effects of tax law and regulations and to assist clients in determining and implementing appropriate tax planning.<BR><BR>Globalization. As a foundation to the TRC practice, we have tax professionals who work to maximize a company's investment in their tax operating model through process redesign, utilization of tax technology, improved data flows and organizational optimization.<BR><BR>We currently have a career opportunity for a Tax Senior in the Tax Performance Advisory (TPA) group of our TRC practice. Tax Performance Advisory works with tax departments to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations.<BR><BR>Responsibilities<BR>Major areas where the group provides assistance include:<BR>Operating Strategy and Organization Design - assist the client in identifying improvement opportunities and evaluating current tax department roles/responsibilities and skill sets.<BR>Process and Controls Enhancement - re-design tax processes with enabling technologies to increase efficiency and reduce risk.<BR>Data and Systems Effectiveness - work with finance and IT teams to increase tax data quantity and quality within financial systems.<BR>Key Risks Identification, Prioritization, Monitoring and Remediation - assess tax risk and control environments inclusive of and beyond the boundaries of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.<BR>To qualify, candidates must have:<BR>* a bachelor's degree and approximately 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 1-2 years of related work experience<BR>* an undergraduate emphasis in accounting and related work experience in tax process improvement experience or equivalent experience in business or industry preferred<BR>* CPA or EA certification<BR>* FAS 109 experience and/or corporate income tax compliance experienc </font></td>
