Based in the Portland area, covering Oregon, and the state of Washington.<BR><BR>Job Description:<BR>This position will work with industrial distributors, manufacturers’ reps and agencies and/or direct sales to identify and evaluate production end users and stimulate additional product demand with current accounts and develop new customer accounts. The assigned territory will cover the state of Oregon, and the state of Washington. There may be opportunities to work with other sales managers in surrounding areas as well.<BR><BR>Job Requirements: <BR>* Proven track record in outside sales desired.<BR>* Associates degree in machining or other Technical/Mechanical Equipment a plus.<BR>* Must have an understanding of the machining process and other technical/mechanical equipment along with an understanding of metals, metallurgy, and cutting tools.<BR>* Successful candidate will be mechanically inclined and capable of operating/adjusting machines and possess strong technical knowledge of metal cutting tools.<BR>* Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point software.<BR>* Strong organizational, customer service and presentation skills are required.<BR>* Overnight travel (25- 50%) is anticipated.<BR><BR>Response Information:Snap-on offers a competitive compensation package, which includes base salary plus bonus opportunity and vehicle; and a complete benefits package.
