Conducts special studies and analyses, develops alternatives, presents recommendations to management and influences management decisions. Researches, analyzes, develops and implements new strategies, programs, and/or processes in response to changing internal and external conditions.<BR><BR>Responsibilities of this position include the following:<BR>* <BR>Act as the point of contact for customers wishing to interconnect.<BR>* <BR>Coordinate the work of PacifiCorp crews and contractors, and monitor costs, schedule, and scope of work. <BR>* <BR>Develop and present funding requests to investment committees for projects<BR>* <BR>Coordinate efforts to integrate new facilities into the PacifiCorp system. <BR>* <BR>Consult with other departmental and legal staff in moderately complex contract reviews and negotiations of terms with counter parties.<BR>* <BR>Collaborate with transmission programs and projects within Power Delivery to develop strategies, goals, long term and annual operating plans for the transmission business.<BR>* <BR>Consult and provide guidance pertaining to achievement of transmission goals and implementation of long and short-term strategies.<BR>* Research and analyze relevant data, evaluate complex situations, develop creative alternatives, provide recommendations, and negotiate and influence outcomes.Requirements of this position include the following: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>* <BR>Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.<BR>* <BR>A minimum of five years experience in transmission, distribution system design, transmission planning, operations experience, or related power supply experience.<BR>* <BR>Experience in contract administration including interpretation of contract terms and negotiations of contract amendments with counterparties.<BR>* <BR>Communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to establish trust, maintain confidence, and understand social behavior and interactions.<BR>* <BR>Ability to work with all organizational levels, to influence actions and negotiate outcomes.<BR>* <BR>Ability to listen and communicate effectively through oral and written means.<BR>* <BR>Knowledge of research, analysis, and consulting techniques, company policies, procedures, practices, and applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations.<BR>Preference may be given to candidates who meet the above requirements and have the following:<BR>* <BR>Advanced degree in business (MBA) or equivalent experience.<BR>* <BR>Project management and leadership skills including the ability to work as a team member, to maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliver on commitments.<BR>All offers of employment are contingent upon the su </font></td>
