This position is located on Marquam Hill. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Vice President of Women and Children's Services, Doernbecher Children?s Hospital provides strategic and operational leadership for Doernbecher Children?s Hospital and Women Services to provide high quality healthcare, patient and family services. With P&L responsibility for business units that generate $268M million in gross patient revenues, the Vice President partners with physician leadership, community leaders, service line directors, OHSU Healthcare leadership and other stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities for success, translate strategies into business plans and guide implementation to achieve goals and objectives. The Vice President will lead a high-performance team to ensure quality remains high, while pursuing cost-effective strategies to increase services and census for Women and Children services. He/She will have oversight for 674 FTEs and an expense budget totaling $101 million.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Master?s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience overseeing multiple clinical departments, ideally including pediatrics, women?s services, surgical services, or other complex services in an academic medical center. Progressive experience to an executive level, with at least five (5) years with full P&L responsibility for at least $200 million. Experience that demonstrates: Comprehensive understanding of the role and responsibilities a children's hospital plays on behalf of its patients, families and the community it serves. Ability to apply sound operating principles and practices to running a complex business. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain constructive and effective interpersonal reationships internally and externally with people from varying background, personal circumstances, education levels. Ability to work in a complex organization, managing multiple priorities to meet stringent deadlines. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience using personal computing equipment. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite of products preferred.
