               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Voice Network Engineer - Level 3<BR>Location: OR-Portland<BR>General Purpose<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR><BR>Develops plans, designs, resource requirements, and cost estimates for construction and maintenance projects involving transmission and distribution facilities, voice and data networks, generation maintenance projects and facilities, properties and facilities projects. May plan and coordinate cross-functional activities, change management and resource availability. Monitors systems operations and adjusts operational plans accordingly.<BR><BR>Responsibilities for this position include the following: <BR>* <BR>Design and develop complex plans for voice network upgrades and expansion.<BR>* <BR>Conducts system engineering, supports voice operational escalations, deploys new voice and video systems and provides oversight for existing systems such as Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unified Presence, Cisco IOS gateways, Cisco Unified Border Element, SIP trunking, video conferencing and unified communications. <BR>* <BR>Specifies, implements, and helps maintain the monitoring and alerting infrastructure for voice and unified communications applications.<BR>* <BR>Design and implementation of complex voice systems, network configurations and voice network architecture, including hardware and software technology, site locations, business continuity, disaster recovery, and integration of technologies.<BR>* <BR>Review analyses and technical feasibility to develop voice network deployment strategies.<BR>* <BR>Assess and review voice and data network growth forecasts and to ensure that business needs are translated into network capacity requirements.<BR>* <BR>Lead and support efforts to resolve voice and data network problems and incidents through root cause analysis and study of potential network deficits.<BR>* <BR>Identify and test current conditions and provide recommendations to ensure that the voice and data network infrastructure is positioned to meet business requirements.<BR>* <BR>Act as a lead and/or technical resource to Engrs, Ntwk 1 and 2.<BR>* <BR>Performs additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.<BR>Requirements for this position include:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree in information systems, engineering, computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience. (Typically 4 years of additional related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor?s degree. A minimum of 2 years additional directly related technical experience is required.)<BR>* Five years experience with voice and data networking or general telecommunications experience.<BR>* Technical skills including programming, installation, configuration, and data base management.<BR>* In depth knowledge of VoIP protocols such as H.323 and/or SIP in order to help troubleshoot and resolve complex voice-related problems.<BR>* In depth knowledge of IP routing and switching, QoS, network management tools, packet capture tools, Microsoft Windo                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        </font></td>
