Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.<BR>Responsibilities:<BR>* Work under the technical supervision of architect to gather data.<BR>* Assist in preparing commercial construction drawings under the direction of the architect.<BR>* Assist in preparing technical specifications under the direction of the architect.<BR>* Retrieve information to complete drawings, layout and design.<BR>* Assist in review of construction documents.<BR>* Develop and maintain an acceptable level of expertise in detailed design practices of SEL standards of construction.<BR>* Complete assigned work and submit within timelines and budgets with a high level of quality to architect.<BR>* Follow and improve applicable processes.<BR>* Supervisory responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:<BR>* Associate degree in CAD, Drafting or relevant discipline or possess equivalent experience for each academic year<BR>* Minimum of three years of preparing commercial construction documents<BR>* Demonstrate competency in AutoCAD drafting AutoCAD 2010 or newer<BR>* Excellent verbal and written skills<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Architectural degree from an accredited program<BR>* Understanding of current Building Codes<BR>* Ability to create and maintain commercial construction drafting standards<BR>* Ability to create and maintain commercial construction digital detail libraries<BR>* Ability to create and maintain record document archive<BR>* 3D modeling software experience<BR>* Preparing mechanical and electrical construction documents under the supervision of an engineerTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
