If you are looking for an opportunity to perform both destructive and non-destructive tests on a variety of different products for the purpose of achieving product certifications, then this position is for you!Responsibilities:<BR>* Work with various third party agencies to achieve certifications on SEL products.<BR>* Perform testing to national and international safety, environmental and electromagnetic compatibility standards.<BR>* Assist SEL design teams to comply with SEL standards and guidelines for product safety, environmental and electromagnetic compatibility performance.<BR>* Maintain SEL laboratories to perform safety and type tests.<BR>* Train SEL engineers and technicians on industry standards, SEL procedures, and test equipment operation.<BR>* Oversee testing at offsite/outsourced test facilities.Qualifications:<BR>* A.S. in Electrical Engineering or related background<BR>* Minimum of two years experience in the area of Compliance Engineering and/or testing, with knowledge of UL, CE, CSA, IEEE and IEC Standards<BR>* Demonstrate expertise of common compliance related test equipment, test chambers and testing practices<BR>* Self-motivated/self-starter<BR>* Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Working knowledge of project management processes and procedures<BR>* Leadership knowledge and training<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software<BR>* Experience working within the UL Data Acceptance Program (DAP)To Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
