If you are looking for an opportunity to apply new computer technology to help solve our world?s energy challenges, then this may be the position for you!<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>* Participate on new product and maintenance development teams.<BR>* Participate in preparation of specifications.<BR>* Design and implement firmware/software designs.<BR>* Write test plans and conduct design tests.<BR>* Prepare and maintain designs and test documentation.<BR>* Review data sheets and instruction manuals.<BR>* Mentor Associate Engineers and technicians.<BR>* Follow and improve processes.Qualifications:<BR>* B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent<BR>* Experience in analog, digital, and microprocessor subsystem design<BR>* Experience in the following areas: embedded systems firmware development including real-time firmware design, C and Assembly languages<BR>* Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Working knowledge of modern test and measurement equipment<BR>* Familiarity with 3-phase electric power systemsTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
