(SEL) seeks an Automation emphasis Engineer to provide assistance in the complete solutions that the company offers: from inception of the idea to the commissioning out of a project. The engineer will be the technical project lead on a multitude of projects serving the military and government sectors. He/she must be a US citizen to work in this unit.<BR><BR>This position is located in the Government Services area reporting to the Engineering Services division. Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Engineer II-Automation (Government Engineering Solutions)Responsibilities:<BR>* Develop and maintain a moderate level of technical expertise in electric power system protection and/or automation.<BR>* Develop and maintain a moderate level of knowledge of SEL equipment and solutions to electric power system protection and automation.<BR>* Work within the project team to develop project deliverables.<BR>* Complete assigned work within agreed upon schedule and budget to a high level of quality.<BR>* Train and assist customers with the installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems, both on-site and from SEL offices.<BR>* Follow and improve applicable processes.<BR>* Provide support for other SEL marketing, sales, application engineering and development activities.<BR>* Supervisory duties as assigned.Qualifications:<BR>* B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university<BR>* Engineer in Training certificate<BR>* Minimum four years relevant experience with industrial automation system practices<BR>* Good knowledge of system protection, integration and automation applications<BR>* Working knowledge of electric power systems and protective relay applications<BR>* Excellent technical training, speaking and writing skills<BR>* Willing to travel up to 25% both nationally and internationally<BR>* Possess several years of experience in Real Time Automation Controller(RTAC)<BR>* Ability to learn new sk </font></td>
