Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Facilities Worker (Third Shift)Responsibilities:<BR>* Perform daily custodial maintenance duties as required including sweeping, dusting, scrubbing, mopping, and trash removal; provide security services including building locking and alarming.<BR>* Complete routine deliveries and stocking.<BR>* Assist with grounds keeping, personnel moves, and specialized floor care such as waxing, burnishing, and carpet care.<BR>* Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; perform routine maintenance as required.<BR>* Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety, environmental practices, area processes, and waste reduction opportunities.<BR>* Perform other duties as assigned.<BR>* Model SEL Values.Qualifications:<BR>* Minimum of 2 years of related experience<BR>* Ability to operate custodial operation-related equipment and use applicable chemicals, supplies, hand and power tools<BR>* Ability to read, understand, follow, and strictly enforce safety procedures<BR>* Ability to understand written and verbal communications<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Ability to work various shifts, hours and days depending on workload<BR>* Current driver''s license and unblemished driving record for past three years<BR>* Ability to work Third shift, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM or Thursday - Sunday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM.<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test results<BR>* Ability to adhere to SEL''s tobacco free workplace policyPreferred Qualifications:<BR>* 2 years of experience and increasing responsibilities in maintaining and cleaning commercial facilities<BR>* High school diploma or GEDAn Award Winning CompanySchweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
