Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Instructional DesignerResponsibilities:<BR>* Design, create, and improve technical training programs.<BR>* Consult with customers and subject matter experts to assess training needs, determine training development strategies, establish development priorities, and propose implementation projects.<BR>* Lead projects to develop technical training programs while meeting cost, schedule, performance, and quality goals.<BR>* Apply advanced development processes and learning technologies in the creation and delivery of technical training programs.<BR>* Evaluate training program effectiveness and improve programs based on the data.<BR>* Create, follow and improve applicable processes.<BR>* Actively model SEL values and culture of quality and excellence.Qualifications:<BR>* Bachelor Degree in Instructional Technology or related field<BR>* 3 years of work experience in degree-related position<BR>* Excellent speaking and writing skills<BR>* Ability to apply instructional design methods in an adult learning environment<BR>* Ability to design and develop electronic learning programs<BR>* Ability to learn and communicate technical information<BR>* Ability to manage technical training development projects<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Ability to work independently, accepting complete ownership of assigned responsibilities<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SELPreferred Qualifications:<BR>* Masters Degree in Instructional TechnologyAn Award Winning CompanySchweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
