Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Power Engineer - Automation Control & MonitoringResponsibilities:<BR>* Design and develop power monitoring, control, and automation equipment.<BR>* Develop and analyze product specifications and functional tests.<BR>* Write and maintain application literature, instruction manuals and data sheets.<BR>* Provide technical and market analysis to evaluate proposed products or enhancements.<BR>* Gather and maintain data on competing products in the assigned product area.<BR>* Assist field personnel in marketing and selling new products.<BR>* Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians.<BR>* Follow and improve R&D processes.Qualifications:<BR>* B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience<BR>* Excellent technical training, speaking and writing skills<BR>* Willing to travel up to 25% of time<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Ability to adhere to SEL''s tobacco free workplace policyPreferred Qualifications:<BR>* Working knowledge of SEL products<BR>* Four years working knowledge of electric power systemsTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
