Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Process Engineering Technician (Swing Shift)Responsibilities:<BR>* Implement, modify, and document assembly processes.<BR>* Write and/or conduct experiments in support of department objectives.<BR>* Assist management with improving the efficiency of manufacturing processes.<BR>* Assist management with the procurement of process equipment and machinery.<BR>* Train assemblers, operators, and maintenance staff as needed.<BR>* Provide support to engineering staff and management as needed.<BR>* Follow and improve manufacturing processes.Qualifications:<BR>* Two-year technical associate degree<BR>* Minimum 3 years experience providing process and/or engineering support in a manufacturing environment<BR>* Working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics<BR>* Working knowledge of electronics industry manufacturing processes and machinery<BR>* Familiarity with modern test equipment<BR>* Strong writing and speaking skills<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in team environment<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Ability to adhere to SEL''s tobacco free workplace policy<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Experience troubleshooting process and machinery problems<BR>* Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments<BR>* Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and machinery.To Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
