The role involves working with customers, field application engineers and product development teams to help promote and grow SEL business. Successful candidates have excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with both customers and product development teams and enjoy finding innovative solutions to solve customers? problems. With this continued growth, SEL has continued to invest in Marketing, Research, and Development, which has led to these new and exciting employment opportunities.<BR><BR>The Product Engineer position for Communication Systems is in our Pullman headquarters, located in Eastern Washington, where you?ll enjoy an unmatched quality of life; the benefits of smaller university town life; country space and fresh air; freedom from traffic; easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests; and great schools and universities.Product Engineer - Communication SystemsResponsibilities:<BR>* Assist customers by providing technical support including: product configuration information, system integration information, future product feature information and price information.<BR>* Generate systems, firmware, and hardware requirement specifications for the Integrated<BR>* Communications Optical Network (ICON TM), which is a wide area network SONET telecommunications multiplexor device.<BR>* Drive the direction and prioritization of the future features in the ICON TM.<BR>* Provide the end-user literature and instruction manual for the ICON TM.<BR>* Assist in marketing literature development.<BR>* Assist in business cases for future features.<BR>* Assist in market and competitor analysis of telecommunication products.<BR>* Support Field Application Engineers applying the ICON TM in industrial control system and power system network architectures and solutions.<BR>* Assist in the development and support of customer service and informal telecommunications training.<BR>* Participate in SEL marketing and sales activities, industry technical meetings, and conferences.<BR>* Maintain and enhance knowledge of SEL products.<BR>* Provide training for customers and SEL personnel.Qualifications:<BR>* B.S. in E </font></td>
