Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Production Supervisor (Day or Swing Shift)Responsibilities:<BR>* Implement SEL values and objectives in order to achieve corporate goals.<BR>* Supervise production schedules, production quality and on-time delivery.<BR>* Assign manufacturing supervisor/assembler/operator duties, establish training needs and oversee training.<BR>* Define manufacturing supervisor/assembler/operator performance standards, review outcome of performance goals and set future targets.<BR>* Identify staffing and capital needs, collect data and write the justification for those needs.<BR>* Create, update and ensure control of department work instructions and reports.<BR>* Coordinate and develop new product design with engineering staff and participate in new product launches.<BR>* Improve quality and delivery costs by product family.<BR>* Encourage professional development of assembly/operator staff.<BR>* Identify and address personnel issues.<BR>* Work within established safety and quality standards.<BR>* Follow and improve manufacturing area processes.Qualifications:<BR>* Two years leadership experience<BR>* High school diploma or G.E.D.<BR>* Excellent communication and leadership skills<BR>* Ability to follow detailed technical instructions<BR>* Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Access<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in team environment<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* College degree (BS or BA)<BR>* Supervisory experience or training<BR>* Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, AccessTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
