<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b> The Program Coordinator - Safety Programs is responsible for program-specific functions that include: (a) programming and coordination; (b) administration, evaluation and reporting; (c) promotion and outreach; (d) supervision of student assistants and volunteers; and (e) assisting as needed or assigned with other programs, activities and events. Duties include, but may not be limited to: recruiting student volunteers and facilitating training; supervising student assistants; collaborating with partners in developing activities, services and events related to safety awareness education and violence prevention; and communicating the details about, as well as assessing the effectiveness of, specific safety programs. A fuller position description may be requested from WorkSource Pullman Affiliate.<BR><BR> <b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b> High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in program specialty OR equivalent education and experience.<BR>-Two years of experience recruiting, training, and/or coordinating employees and/or volunteers<BR>-Valid driver's license (or able to obtain at time of hire) and insurable to conduct program business<BR>-Physically able to safely and frequently lift and carry items up to 20 pounds<BR>-Able and willing to work evenings and weekends as necessary to perform position duties<BR>-Demonstrated ability to be sensitive to the needs and concerns of a diverse population<BR>-Able to work well independently and as part of a team; exceptional verbal and written communication skills<BR>-Superior initiative and resourcefulness, as well as ability to multi-task and meet deadlines<BR>-Strong computer experience, especially using Microsoft Office applications<BR>-Pass background check to employer's satisfaction<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b> full-time, some evenings and weekends, schedule to be discussed<BR><BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:</b> $29,784 - $34,260/yr, DOE and qualifications<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE / DEADLINE:</b> Request for referral must be received by WorkSource Pullman Affiliate no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012.
