Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Responsibilities:<BR>* Lead the development and introduction of electric power system protection, automation, control, and monitoring products.<BR>* Coordinate the activities of R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, Quality Systems, Operations, and other departments as necessary to meet project objectives.<BR>* Manage one or more complex, cross functional projects with a typical project budget of $500,000.00 or more.<BR>* Establish and execute detailed project plans.<BR>* Monitor projects using appropriate metrics and provide timely reports on progress to management.<BR>* Drive consensus decisions among project stakeholders and team members.<BR>* Ensure project teams follow applicable processes, projects meet cost and schedule objectives, and project deliverables meet quality and performance objectives.<BR>* Present to, and communicate effectively with, executive management and customers on the project''s commercial and technical aspects.Qualifications:<BR>* Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience<BR>* Five or more years of direct experience in developing and supporting electronic or software products<BR>* Five or more years project management experience<BR>* Demonstrated leadership of a technical team<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Excellent communication and teamwork skills<BR>* Ability to learn technical concepts<BR>* Demonstrated record of project management accomplishmentsPreferred Qualifications:<BR>* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent<BR>* Knowledge of electric power system protection, integration and automation practices<BR>* Knowledge of SEL products<BR>* Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft ProjectTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
