If you have experience working with international subsidiaries and are looking for an opportunity to consolidate and analyze international financial statements then this may be the position for you!<BR><BR>This position''s primary focus is to support a subset of SEL''s international subsidiaries. This includes making recommendations on functional currency, preparing consolidated financial statements, working with subsidiaries to improve controls and strengthen processes, and partnering with the subsidiaries to provide timely and accurate financial information.<BR><BR>SEL?s corporate office is located in Eastern Washington where you''ll enjoy an unmatched quality of life. Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Senior AccountantResponsibilities:<BR>* Under limited supervision:<BR>* Prepare and/or analyze financial results of subsidiary operations for management review.<BR>* Analyze and make recommendations concerning functional currency of international subsidiaries.<BR>* Assist in the consolidation of US parent corporation and international subsidiaries.<BR>* Work with internal and external accountants to setup and audit processes.<BR>* Review and/or implement internal controls in subsidiary operations.<BR>* Implement best practices for importation, duties & customs.<BR>* Assist Regional Sales Managers with financial support and analysis as needed.<BR>* Perform research and planning according to GAAP/IFRS including recommendations to management.<BR>* Lead special projects as assigned.<BR>* Follow and improve area processes.<BR>* Prepare and/or assist in budgets, product cost analysis and other analysisQualifications:<BR>* B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance<BR>* Minimum 5 years experience of financial statement analysis and internal control review<BR>* Innovative, motivated, self-directed<BR>* Experience with Excel<BR>* Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS<BR>* Excellent writing and speaking skills<BR>* Ability to quickly learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)<BR>* Ability to adhere to SEL''s tobacco free workplace policyPreferred Qualifications:<BR>* C.P.A., C.M.A., or Masters Degree<BR>* Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment<BR>* Project accounting experience<BR>* Audit experience<BR>* International experienceTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
