Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Shipping/Receiving ClerkResponsibilities:<BR>* Receive, process paperwork and deliver freight receipts daily.<BR>* Receive, distribute and post mail daily.<BR>* Handle materials including location, identification and control of stock products; maintain stock of area materials.<BR>* Perform inventory cycle counts and provide other area support as needed.<BR>* Keep accurate and up-to-date records.<BR>* File loss/damage claims with carriers.<BR>* Recycle or dispose of scrap manufacturing materials.<BR>* Reconcile discrepancies with buyers and suppliers.<BR>* Prepare shipping containers in accordance with SEL standards.<BR>* Coordinate pick up and drop off with carriers.<BR>* Follow and improve area processes.Qualifications:<BR>* Ability to maintain high standards for receiving, stocking and documentation and error-free shipments<BR>* Strong data entry, proofreading and filing skills<BR>* Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds<BR>* Knowledge of packing materials and shipping requirements<BR>* Ability to follow established work schedule and procedures<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in team environment<BR>* Background check satisfactory to SEL.<BR>* Negative drug test result(s).<BR>* Adhere to SEL?s tobacco-free policy.Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Experience in forklift truck operationAn Award Winning CompanySchweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
