Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>* Participate in preparation of specifications.<BR>* Design firmware/software.<BR>* Implement firmware/software designs.<BR>* Write test plans and conduct design tests.<BR>* Prepare and maintain designs and test documentation.<BR>* Review data sheets and instruction manuals.<BR>* Mentor Associate Engineers and technicians.<BR>* Participate in industry technical meetings and conferences as needed to meet operational and strategic plans.<BR>* Follow and improve processes.Qualifications:<BR>* B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent<BR>* Embedded systems firmware development experience including real-time firmware design and C, C++, and Assembly languages<BR>* Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Computer networking<BR>* Software leadershipTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
