Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Responsibilities:<BR>* Participate in preparation of specifications.<BR>* Design software.<BR>* Write test plans and conduct design tests.<BR>* Prepare and maintain designs and test documentation.<BR>* Review data sheets and instruction manuals.<BR>* Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians.<BR>* Participate in industry technical meetings and conferences as needed to meet organizational and strategic plans.<BR>* Follow and improve area processes.Qualifications:<BR>* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent<BR>* Minimum 4 years professional experience in an object-oriented language such as C#, C++, Java, etc.<BR>* Strong grasp of object-oriented design principles<BR>* Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)<BR>* Ability to adhere to SEL''s tobacco free workplace policyPreferred Qualifications:<BR>* Proficient with C# and Microsoft .NET<BR>* Experience using agile development processes/tools such as Scrum, XP, Kanban etc<BR>* Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations<BR>* Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the projectTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
