Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Supplier Quality Assurance EngineerResponsibilities:<BR>* Identify, measure, communicate, and drive supplier quality performance improvements to accomplish SEL quality objectives.<BR>* Support SEL Manufacturing operations addressing and resolving component quality issues in a timely manner.<BR>* Initiate incoming inspections, purges, and/or other containments to prevent supplier defects from impacting design, production, and customer requirements.<BR>* Conduct failure analysis of component failures. Evaluate supplier-provided failure analysis.<BR>* Perform root cause analysis on product failures.<BR>* Initiate, monitor and approve corrective actions. Provide timely feedback.<BR>* Evaluate supplier process control systems for capability and competitiveness.<BR>* Participate in supplier quality development events and qualification process.<BR>* Define, implement and monitor incoming inspection processes.<BR>* Follow and improve area processes.Qualifications:<BR>* B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience<BR>* 3+ years experience in quality engineering or related field<BR>* Familiarity with Quality Systems and Quality Improvement tools and methods<BR>* Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics<BR>* Demonstrated success in resolution of quality issues in electronic design and manufacturing.<BR>* Experience with quality assurance and Inspection methods<BR>* Excellent problem solving skills<BR>* Strong communication and documentation skills<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Ability to adhere to SEL''s tobacco free workplace policyPreferred Qualifications:<BR>* ISO 9001 Lead Auditor<BR>* ASQ Certified Quality EngineerTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
