Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Responsibilities:<BR>* Improve by editing and formatting customer-ready training materials for the corporate university environment, including presentations, workbooks, reference papers, class exercises, and other documents.<BR>* Collaborate with instructional designers, engineers, and other editors to meet the challenge of producing quality training materials and related reference papers through editing, writing, and proofreading.<BR>* Coordinate publication of customer-ready training materials, including CDs, for classes per established schedules.<BR>* Provide final approval of course manual materials prior to production.<BR>* Create and edit graphics and technical drawings for training materials.<BR>* Polish and enhance documents according to established processes and style guidelines.<BR>* Keep pace with a demanding schedule while following, maintaining, and improving SEL University course manual documentation, revision, and preparation procedures.<BR>* Maintain ISO-compliant document control system for the department.<BR>* Complete other duties as assigned by department manager.Qualifications:<BR>* Bachelor?s Degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or related field<BR>* Minimum three years of technical documentation and/or editing experience<BR>* Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading, and communication skills<BR>* Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous content development projects and deadlines<BR>* Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific information<BR>* Master user expertise in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and graphics/drawing programs<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Expertise in editing/formatting technical training materials<BR>* Expertise in technical drawing software such as Visio or IllustratorTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
