The Microsoft Services Justice and Public Safety Practice plays a vital role in supporting our customers'' objectives through accelerating the adoption and deployment of Microsoft products and services as we work with them to solve their most challenging problems.<BR>JOB DESCRIPTION: Microsoft Public Sector Services is looking for a seasoned Solutions Architect that has a unique blend of advanced technology and strategic business acumen. This role requires both broad and deep technology and industry knowledge and the ability to architect solutions by mapping customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions. Demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology and business decision maker discussions is a must. Solutions Architects have a passion for the customer which is demonstrated through their experience, deep knowledge of the Justice and Public Safety space, accomplishments in the industry, their professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience.<BR>The successful candidate must have a proven record of delivering business value. Candidates must have a deep understanding of markets, government customers, and technology; have the background to provide leadership in the practice and a demonstrated effectiveness in consulting and client management.<BR>Solutions Architects in the Justice and Public Safety Practice must apply advanced analysis skills and experience to provide detailed reliable solutions and estimates for service implementations. To be credible, he or she must have current and deep experience in the broad area of Justice and Public Safety in general and a broad range of skills across the Microsoft platform. Strong leadership and the ability to professionally represent Microsoft in challenging environments is required. Understanding of competitive technology enables the architect to properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions from, and/or integrating with customer solutions hosted on, non-Microsoft platforms.<BR>The successful candidate must demonstrate expert level knowledge required for assisting customers in architecting, planning, testing and deploying solutions including the following:<BR>- Proven experience supporting consulting engagements which includes estimating, scoping, and writing effective statements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk.<BR>- Demonstrated excellence at presenting complex technical topics to both executive and technical personnel<BR>- An ability to articulate architectural differences between solution methods and the challenges </font></td>
