Two positions available, day (M-Th, 40 hr. work week) and weekend shift (F,Sa,Sun. 36/hr work week)<BR><BR>Must have two years of recent experience in an Avionics troubleshooting/production environment. <BR><BR><BR>Seeking a Level I/II Test Technician experienced in a production environment. Technician will conduct variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tests on electronic systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure unit functions according to specification or to determine cause of unit failure. Read test schedules, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used. Test functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change, vibration, pressure and humidity. Connect unit to be tested to test equipment such as signal generator, frequency meter or spectrum analyzer. Read dials or digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance and capacitance. Analyze test results on defective units to determine cause of failure. Perform other duties as assigned.<BR><BR>Requirements include an AA degree, 2 plus years of experience in the aerospace industry. • Ability to setup test equipment and follow test procedures. • Ability to troubleshoot failures to the component level • Ability to work on end items as well as circuit cards • Knowledge and previous experience with environmental testing a plus • Basic computer skills for entering on line timecard as well as failure reports and other job related activities • Work from schematics and drawings • High power experience is a plus • Knowledge in Lean and Five S helpful<BR><BR>VOLT is an Equal Opportunity Employer</font></td>
