There are several roads to modernization including retaining an existing solution and extending it with new technology, replacing a custom application with a packaged application, rehosting or migrating an existing application or database from a high cost platform to a more cost effective platform, and re-writing an application to take advantage of the latest development and platform technology.<BR><BR>The Modernization team is looking for a senior leader who can help drive the long range plan and vision for the Modernization initiative. The Modernization Business Architect has end-to-end responsibility for setting the sales strategy by seamlessly aligning marketing (e.g. campaigns), sales (e.g. enablement), services (e.g. services offerings, delivery model) and partners (e.g. selection, incentives, opportunity management). In his role, the Modernization Business Architect works across organizations including Business Groups, Services and the Enterprise Partner Group to ensure an integrated customer experience.
