<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Puget Sound Energy is looking for an Advisor Application Configuration Analyst who specializes in Alstom EMS. This person independently diagnoses highly complex problems, develops and implements solutions in an Alstom Grid Energy Management System environment (from list below). WE are looking for someone who effectively understands relevant business processes so that they can be modeled in internal systems. This role will be looked upon to develop and maintain scope and objectives for internal systems requirements as defined by the organization inclusive of Alstom Grid Energy Management System modules and affected applications, to allow for programming business rules into said systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of multiple functional areas in Alstom Grid Energy Management System environment (from list below), active business processes, business areas, as well as industry. We are looking for someone who is NERC-certified and supports NERC and FERC standards and quality. <BR><BR>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES<BR>• Detailed understanding and Alstom Grid Energy Management System experience: 8+ years hands-on systems experience in one or more Alstom Grid Energy Management System modules (from list below) appropriate for the job (or other related functional area experience). <BR>• Knowledge of Alstom Grid Energy Management System data dictionary and common Alstom Grid Energy Management System tables. <BR>• Experience with at least four full life cycle implementations of Alstom Grid Energy Management System and experience supporting 7x24 real-time control system environments that manage the electric power grid.<BR>• Solid experience with Alstom Grid Energy Management System architecture and proven knowledge of platform functionality, database technologies, and advanced knowledge of office applications (e.g. Microsoft Office). Proven skills in enterprise systems development.<BR>• Deep understanding of project and software development ASAP or Agile methodologies and processes and may assist in aligning the process with project needs.<BR>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent hands-on experience. <BR>• 9+ years IT experience <BR>• Detailed understanding and experience: 8+ years hands-on systems experience in one or more (specialized technical requirements as shown in technical addendum) modules appropriate for the job or other related functional area experience. <BR>• Knowledge of systems and/or business analysis design concepts. Demonstrated proficiency in the applied use of systems and process analysis tools. Full system life cycle experience, including development lifecycle methodologies<BR>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.<BR>• Possesses full technical knowledge of phases of software development life cycle.<BR><BR>Alstom Grid Energy Management System (EMS) modules and skills:<BR><BR>e-terraplatform (EMP) – including version 2.5 or later<BR>e-terrahabitat (HABITAT) – including version 5.8 or later<BR>e-terrabrowser (Webfg Client) – including version 3.5 or later<BR>e-terramodeler (Genesys) – including version 5.7 or later<BR>e-terracontrol (SMP) – including version 3.6 or later, and knowledge of DNP-based protocols<BR>e-terracomm (OAG) – including version 2.6 or later, and knowledge of ICCP protocol <BR>e-terrascada (SCADA subsystem) <BR>e-terratransmission (Network subsystem) – including state estimation, contingency analysis<BR>e-terrageneration (Generation subsystem) – including automatic generation control<BR>e-terrasimulator (DTS subsystem) – including knowledge of dispatcher training<BR>e-terravision – including knowledge of situational awareness<BR><BR>PSE offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
