               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Job Category:Finance<BR>Location:Redmond, WA, US<BR>Job ID:810866-94394<BR>Division:Windows Division<BR><BR><BR>Summary of position:<BR>This position is part of the Windows Division Opex Management team that partners with the Engineering teams (specifically Windows Dev, Windows Test and Windows Content Services) to manage headcount, product development, vendor and lab investments including target setting, planning, budgeting, forecasting as well as monthly performance management and reporting. You will be the key point of contact for the CVPs of these groups around all financial planning and analysis activities. You will also be on point for coordinating the detailed FY14 budget process for Windows R&D working with business partners in engineering and your peers on the Windows finance team. This position has significant and independent exposure to the Windows senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have great executive presence as well as the ability to form partnerships at all levels of the organization, combined with attention to detail and highly developed financial analysis skills.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>- Act as the finance point of contact for your teams from an investment management perspective across all RoB cycles<BR>- Lead monthly business discussions on spend performance with the CVPs for your groups<BR>- Drive performance management discussions for Windows R&D all up in monthly close meetings with the WWLD CFO<BR>- Drive insights into lab and vendor spend in partnership with the engineering teams and other business groups resulting in cost savings for the business and across the company<BR>- Manage the annual budget process for Windows R&D all up, through target setting post H1 and culminating in the annual budget review with the Windows Division President<BR><BR>Experience Required:<BR>o 5 years of financial analysis and financial accounting experience, preferably in a high tech company<BR>o Strong PC skills (excellent Excel skills required, Access and/or SQL a plus). Knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Mercury, BWB, MBP, etc. is a strong plus<BR>o Demonstrated experience in developing complex financial models; excellent quantitative analysis, modeling and forecasting skills<BR>o Strong communication skills.
