As Finance Manager, you will interact directly with business partners and CVPs and join a team of finance professionals who support Microsoft''s largest division and many of its most recognizable products. The ideal candidate must be able to quickly ramp-up with our processes and systems and develop solid relationships with key business partners.<BR><BR>Core Job Responsibilities<BR>Financial Planning - Work closely with Business Managers, GMs and other key stakeholders to develop quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans for OPEX, CAPEX, and headcount. Develop and maintain detail models that utilize key drivers and resource deployment assumptions to provide insight into projections, risks, and opportunities. Review with and gain approval from product group CVPs and leadership team.<BR>Performance Reporting and Analysis - Proactively manage monthly reporting and analysis processes for R&D costs; provide financial analysis and business insight into variances and trends; prepare and share monthly financial results summaries with CVPs and their teams.<BR>Financial Support - As the primary face of Finance to our business partners, help educate and advise them on finance processes and perspectives, and help them to be good stewards of the Microsoft''s resources.<BR>Controls - Ensure compliance with Microsoft policies of own work and monitor compliance to policy within the R&D groups you support to help promote a strong control environment. Provide input into and help to implement policies and procedures, as required.<BR>Assist teams to provide ad hoc financial analysis as required.<BR><BR>Requirements/Qualifications<BR>Strong analytical skills and the ability to see beyond the numbers to understand the key drivers<BR>Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective, professional relationships with all levels of the business partner''s organization<BR>Ability to communicate effectively and develop clear, concise visual presentation materials.<BR>Advanced proficiency with Excel and working level proficiency with SAP, BWB, Mercury and other MS management reporting systems and tools<BR>Uncompromising attention accuracy and details<BR>Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines<BR>5+ years of relevant business experience.<BR>BA/BS degree in finance and/or accounting<BR>MBA, CMA, and/or CPA a plus </font></td>
