This is a unique opportunity within Microsoft to support the growing hardware consumer devices business. This is a very visible position that works closely with key decision makers in MSCIS Operations. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, the ability to effectively partner across various parts of the organization, a strong grounding in financial fundamentals and principles, and the ability to program manage large ambiguous program The successful candidate will not only understand manufacturing cost accounting principles and be able to apply them to this business space, he/she will be able to provide leadership to the finance, operations and business group teams in order to pull together large complex programs.<BR><BR>Some specificResponsibilities include:<BR>Program management of 9-18 month financial projects<BR>o Produce, update, and publish project schedules<BR>o Define key deliverables, measurements for completion, and identify risks to program schedule<BR>o Produce executive level weekly updates to finance executives to keep them abreast of key program issues<BR>P&L Modeling and Development<BR>o Ability to work with key stakeholders to manage all key assumptions on the program and lead the organization so that all financials are uniformly based on these assumptions<BR>o Produce weekly P&L and financial pro-formas working collaboratively with subject matter experts<BR>o Communicate key opportunities and risks in the P&L so that the executive team can effectively manage the financial results<BR>Systems and Process Excellence<BR>o Need to define system requirements in conjunction with Information Solutions organization to ensure successful financial closes<BR>o Development and documentation of key processes in order to facilitate accurate financial management and ability to lead a broad finance organization to facilitate this<BR>o Ability to play the role of devil''s advocate and challenge submissions of new processes and ensure that the processes are of high quality<BR>The person in this role will be expected to play a key role in the evolution of the MSCIS team, in terms of input into team strategy, development of infrastructure roadmap and identifying and driving continuous improvement opportunities.<BR><BR>Qualifications<BR>- MBA in Finance, Accounting or equivalent required<BR>- Financial experience in a manufacturing-heavy business space (8+ years) required<BR>- Demonstrated financial analysis experience in relevant business space required<BR>- Experience with manufacturing and/or supply chain information systems strongly desired<BR>- Familiarity with internal Microsoft tools (MS Sales, Mercury, etc.) a plus<BR>- Ability to use MS Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint<BR>The successful candidate will also exhibit the following characteristics:<BR>- Excellent communication skills and excellent cross-group collaboration s </font></td>
