Then come join the Finance Business Intelligence team for Microsoft''s consulting business!<BR><BR>MCS (Microsoft Consulting Services) is a $1.9B revenue business made up of CSB (Consulting Services Business) and ESS (Enterprise Strategy Services).  We are a global team of over 6,000 people who deliver leading-edge consulting services to earn customer confidence, trust, and loyalty by helping them realize their full potential through accelerated adoption and productive use of Microsoft Technologies.<BR><BR>Our focus is on incubating new technologies and driving strategic products, while working with partners who handle the bulk of our customers'' needs for mature technologies.<BR><BR>In this role, you will partner directly with the Enterprise Strategy Services business leaders to work across the organization with EPG, the product groups, and field stakeholders all over the world. Key components of the job include:<BR>Business intelligence around current and projected performance<BR>Business partnering to understand the business and influence key<BR>Financial modeling and ROI evaluation of strategic opportunities<BR>Incubate and develop growth plans for new business areas<BR><BR>Approximately 30-40% of the job will be focused on Rhythm-of-the-Business activities such as analyzing field forecasts, month-end performance, and quarterly business reviews; the other 60-70% of the job will be deep-dive analysis projects that will come in a variety of flavors:<BR>Levers of the business - understanding issues and identifying improvement opportunities<BR>Strategic initiatives to change our operating model<BR>Strategic programs to support product initiatives such as Tier 1 and our Cloud offerings<BR><BR>The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who is passionate about deriving business insight from financial and operational data, improving financial processes and solving problems.
