The Kinect Development Team is looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Plastic Injection Mold Tooling and Molding Process Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consumer electronics product tooling and process development with Asian suppliers, tooling material selection, resin selection and qualification, two and three shot molding, high volume manufacturing experiences, secondary processes, DOE experience and the ability to run multiple programs in parallel with excellent communication and collaboration skills.<BR><BR>Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical education in Mold Design/Mold Making or Mold process development, and a minimum of 10 years'' experience in direct hands-on Injection mold development in Injection Mold Job Shop environments.<BR><BR>Competency in MS office software applications is required, as well as 2D and 3D Solid modeling CAD applications with preference in Pro Engineering Wildfire.  Understanding of statistics, GD&T, and good root cause analysis skills also required.<BR><BR>This position is expected to require extended overseas travel to Asia.  Experiences in other tooling processes would be considered a bonus, such as progressive die sheet metal tooling, die cast tooling, etc.<BR><BR>Candidate to be able to demonstrate past experience and success the following areas of responsibility:<BR><BR>Mechanical Design -<BR>Participate and advise in all part design reviews with ME and ID<BR>Participate in tolerance analysis and tolerance studies to support system level RSS assembly requirements<BR>Research and identify new materials, manufacturing technologies and finish options<BR>Calculate cycle times and yield rates for all manufacturing processes to determine manufacturing capacity Inform estimations of prototype and production manufacturing costs - tooling, secondary assembly, secondary finishing and piece part<BR>Participate in all supplier audits and final supplier selection<BR><BR>Prototype/Development -<BR>Write all prototype/development tooling RFQs - plastic and metal<BR>Write and keep master tooling schedule updated Assign all asset tracking numbers<BR>Review all DFM from supplier<BR>Review all gating and approve all MoldFlow and Mold Warp analysis Review and approve all prototype/development tool designs<BR>Review and approve all tooling maintenance procedures<BR>Track suppliers weekly build progress<BR>Participate in all T1 sample trials<BR>Direct all tooling modifications<BR>Approve TF parts<BR>Approve all FAI reports<BR>Approve all PPAP reports<BR>Back-up and store all prototype/development tool designs, secondary fixture designs, FAI reports and PPAP reports<BR>Direct and follow all tooling ECN activities<BR><BR>Production -<BR>Write all producti                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 </font></td>
