We operate on-site employee health centers, pharmacies and fitness centers for many of the country&#x2019;s largest corporations and federal agencies.<BR>We are seeking PRN Medical Assistants for opportunity within our Employer Solutions division at a NEW location in Redmond, Washington.<BR>This position will, in a collaborative team environment, provide exceptional patient-focused care utilizing clinical best practices while empowering individuals to make lifestyle changes necessary for the best possible health. This NEW patient focused facility will offer a full complement of services with easy access for patient convenience<BR><BR><BR>Summary:<BR>Assists in examination and treatment of patients under direction of Physician, Advanced Practitioner and/ or RN in compliance with state practice acts and regulations.Provides prescribed medical treatment and services to client employees.<BR><BR><BR>Essential Functions:<BR>Measures and records patient&#x2019;s vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height)<BR><BR>Interviews patient to determine medical problem/condition and documents in chart<BR><BR>Assists physician with patient examination as needed<BR><BR>Reviews physician''s orders, lab requests, or follow-up needs with patient<BR><BR>Administers specified medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection<BR><BR>Dresses wounds, applies compresses, ice, and heat packs as instructed<BR><BR>Documents services performed on appropriate forms<BR><BR>Collects samples, such as urine, blood, and sputum, from patients for testing and performs routine laboratory tests on samples<BR><BR>Operatesequipment to administer routine diagnostic tests<BR><BR>Cleans and sterilizes equipment<BR><BR>Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination<BR><BR>Responds to inquiries or coordinates provider review of patient problems and questions<BR><BR>Maintains a clean and safe environment. Follows infection control procedures<BR><BR>Maintains patient privacy and confidential patient information<BR><BR>Assists patient in scheduling appointments<BR><BR>Follows up with patients on missed appointments, lab results, including the scheduling of any additional tests<BR><BR>Coordinates referrals for patients through insurance, other physician offices and specialists<BR><BR>This job has no supervisory responsibilities<BR><BR>Other duties as assigned<BR><BR>Required Qualifications:<BR>Associate''s degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant training program<BR><BR>Minimum two years                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  </font></td>
