Hours of the position vary and qualified candidates should be able to work day or evening shifts.<BR><BR>RESPONSIBILITIES:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR><BR>?    Prioritize daily workflow queues.<BR>?    Enter new orders and check for duplicate therapy.<BR>?    Be familiar with pharmacy procedure for entering new admit orders<BR>?    Maintain knowledge of allergy and diagnosis codes<BR>?    Be familiar with pharmacy emergency dispensing systems and procedures<BR>?    Follow pharmacy procedures for early refills, telephone refills, auto stop orders, clarifications and narcotics.<BR>?    Follow pharmacy procedures for urgent forms and communication to facility staff<BR>?    Complete refill order processes according to current procedures.<BR>?    Discontinue medications per client specific instructions<BR>?    Maintain knowledge of packaging procedures in order to process label quantities correctly.<BR>?    Assist in training new pharmacy data entry personnel<BR>?    Be familiar with paperless document retrieval to research and trouble shoot concerns from facility staff.<BR>?    Forward problem situations unable to be resolved quickly to Triage staff<BR>?    Notify Supervisor, Lead Technician or RPH of problem situations unable to be resolved by Triage staff<BR>?    Be familiar with all pharmacy labeling requirements<BR>?    Be familiar with Order Entry closing procedures:<BR>?    Order Entry cut-off times<BR>?    Billing notification<BR>?    Completion of Daily log<BR>?    Refill too soon faxing<BR>?    Be familiar with emergency pharmacy procedure<BR>?    Perform other duties as assigned<BR><BR>QUALIFICATIONS:<BR><BR>?    High School Graduate or equivalent; or currently enrolled in high school<BR>?    Current state Pharmacy Technician licensure - mandatory<BR>?    National Pharmacy Certification - preferred<BR>?    Previous Technician experience<BR>?    Medical Terminology experience<BR>?    Strong computer skills - Rescot experience preferred<BR>?    Ability to manage many situations at once<BR>?    Ability to sit for long periods of time<BR>?    Good communication skills<BR>?    Neat/clean appearance and habits<BR>?    Punctual                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    </font></td>
