Genie, based in Redmond, WA, has approximately 3000 team members spread throughout the globe, though Redmond is the primary location, with 1500+ team members spread across the corporate campus.<BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR>Develop, maintain and perform audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Frequently works with external and internal suppliers to resolve quality issues, find root causes, and determine corrective actions. Provides support to production line for quality issues that arise on a day to day basis. Participate in Lean continuous improvement process.<BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR><BR>Candidate must demonstrate/provide the following skills and services:<BR>• Minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Assurance preferred<BR>• Some Project Management experience preferred<BR>• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and methods.<BR>• Ability to eliminate Quality challenges using poke-yokes and Zero QC techniques<BR>• Ability to compile and analyze data<BR>• Production Line Quality resource person<BR>• Quality audit development, quality measurement<BR>• QRB tracking, measurement, countermeasure<BR>• Understanding SPC, and process capability determination.<BR>• Technical expertise to identify root cause through data analysis.<BR>• Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement improvements quickly.<BR>• Excellent problem solving skills.<BR>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to teach others.<BR>• Ability to work independently, and within a team.<BR>• Flexibility to work overtime, different shifts, and travel on short notice as necessary.<BR>• Ability to work well under compressed time constraints.<BR>• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time.<BR>• Understanding of how to utilize precision measurement tools preferred.<BR><BR>Desired skills:<BR>• Experience with pneumatic tools,hydraulics,machining/forming/welding requirements, and electrical systems.<BR>• Familiarity with computers, including Excel.<BR>• Experience in a Quality Field<BR>Apply for this job:<BR>Your application choices are:<BR>* Apply for this jobonline<BR>* Refer a friend to this job<BR>It is the policy of the company to attract and retain the best qualified employees.
