This role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect solutions by mapping common customer business problems to reusable end-to-end technology solutions. Demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to agility, business value, and end to end information technology security is also a must. Architects are key enablers for other consultants and partner staff. Regional Architects have a passion for the customer which is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience.<BR><BR>The Regional Architect applies advanced analysis skills and experience in principals of solution design to define appropriate customer solutions. To be credible he or she must have current and deep experience with implementation of large software systems. Understanding of competitive technology enables the Architect to properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions from, and/or integrating with customer solutions hosted on, non-Microsoft platforms.<BR><BR>Advanced level knowledge assisting customers in architecting, planning, testing and deploying solutions in the following is required:<BR><BR>- Proven experience in presales support scenarios, and selling consulting engagements, which includes estimating, scoping, and writing effective statements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk.<BR>- Demonstrated excellence at presenting complex infrastructure topics to both executive and technical personnel<BR>- An ability to articulate architectural differences between solution methods and the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms including a working knowledge of different architectural frameworks that may be used by our customers.<BR>- Exceptional demonstrated consulting skills<BR><BR>Expert level knowledge and real-world experience in large-scale application development is a requirement. This role also requires assisting customers in architecting, planning, testing and deploying Microsoft technologies as appropriate. A successful candidate will possess the following skills:<BR><BR>- Broad experience with Windows Azure Cloud IaaS and PaaS services, features, and offerings<BR>- Working knowledge building, migrating, and deploying Windows Azure applications and services<BR>- A deep understanding and the practical application of distributed application development in the .NET model, e.g., Web Applications, Web Services, Smart Clients, Windows Azure, SQL Azure, UX Technologies and associated technologies and standards<BR>- Expert level knowledge in at least one of the following Windows technology areas is also required: dis </font></td>
