GE works.<BR>Posted Position Title Sales Manager, Channel Segment<BR>Career Level Experienced<BR>Function Sales<BR>Function Segment Client, Account and Affiliate Origination and Management<BR>Location United States<BR>U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces Washington<BR>City Redmond<BR>Postal Code 98052-5048<BR>Relocation Assistance Yes<BR>Role Summary/Purpose GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.<BR><BR>The Sales Manager, Channel Segment will:<BR>Essential Responsibilities <BR>* Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned Distributors at all levels of their organizations<BR><BR>* Plan and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and margin; motivate distributors to stock and sell GE Industrial Solutions products<BR><BR>* Provide training, joint sales calls and applications support<BR><BR>* Generate cross-selling leads and make it easier to do business with Industrial Solutions<BR><BR>* Identify and track upcoming sales opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor GE<BR><BR>* Conduct technical presentations to create preference for GE<BR><BR>* Introduce new products to existing customer base and identify target customers<BR><BR>* Meet or exceed assigned volume and margin measurements<BR><BR>* Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership<BR><BR>* Perform take-off''s and develop cost effective proposals from project plans and specifications and negotiate and secure orders<BR><BR>* Understand market pricing and create and maintain into-stock and secondary pricing agreements<BR><BR>* Track sales leads, wins and losses in CRM system; perform analysis on hit-rate data<BR><BR>* Create channel marketing programs (counter days, NPI launch, training) to promote GE products and services<BR><BR>* Train and motivate distributor to do take off''s, pricing and to close small project orders and blanket MRO contracts<BR><BR>* Participate in local trade area review process to develop the district channel strategy<BR><BR>* Process stock balancing, returns and billing inquires in a timely manner<BR>Qualifications/Requirements <BR>* Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited university or college<BR><BR>* Minimum 2 years sales experience<BR>Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
