               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Security Analyst/Architect, Redmond, WA<BR><BR>Responsibilities:We invite you to join our team as a Security Analyst/Architect at our Corporate headquarters in Redmond (this position could alternately be located in Bradford, U.K.). The Security Analyst/Architect will provide technical and operational security support to the UNIVAR Security Program. This role will analyze enterprise requirements and recommend and implement appropriate technical security architecture. This position will analyze the current technology and security services environment to identify critical security deficiencies and to recommend and prioritize solutions for improvement. He/she will consult on Host, Application, LAN and WAN infrastructure utilizing international security best practices. The Security Analyst/Architect will be responsible for securing UNIVAR information assets from potential external and internal threats and for complying with multiple security regulations and contractual requirements.<BR><BR>Primary Responsibilities:<BR>&#8226; Provide input and partner with IT/Security management in defining an effective security architecture using industry best practices.<BR>&#8226; Serve as the IT security expert; review architecture and engineering designs from other IT architects to align security controls with business objectives.<BR>&#8226; Review audit findings and develop and execute remediation plans. This will include interfacing with 3rd party vendors, and providing guidance (to other departments) on security best practices.<BR>&#8226; Develop a deep understanding of UNIVAR network health, security events, and TCP/IP infrastructure.<BR>&#8226; Provide hands-on security engineering support for security platforms including: Firewall, Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection, Log Management, and related security systems.<BR>&#8226; Ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability of critical information assets, including: data, application software, server and desktop operating systems, physical assets, network and telecommunications.<BR>&#8226; Recommend and assist in the development and implementation of appropriate information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines required to safeguard information assets.<BR>&#8226; Interface with systems development teams to ensure that new and modified systems are developed in accordance with defined Information Security Standards.<BR>&#8226; Responsible for supporting compliance to the Univar Information Security Policy & Standards through appropriate architecture design and deployment<BR>&#8226; Provides leadership and technical expertise in security incident management and investigations<BR><BR>Qualifications:Qualifications:<BR>&#8226; BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education.<BR>&#8226; CISSP or equivalent security certification required.
