The LIVE Service Delivery Security team, part of Microsoft''s Interactive Entertainment Business, is looking for an experienced service engineer with a passion for security.<BR><BR>Day-to-dayResponsibilities include:<BR>Analyzing threats and current security controls to identify gaps in current defensive posture.<BR>Identify appropriate technology/data sources and drive the collection of data necessary to effectively evaluate threats<BR>Develop content in a SIEM solution that uses data sources, and correlated events to bring visibility to emerging threats<BR>Identifying strategies for evolving security measures to align with business needs.<BR>Driving alignment on requirements and technical approach with various stakeholders.<BR>Partnering with engineering, program management and operations personnel within the service delivery organization to implement changes to process and technology.<BR>Communicating objectives, strategies and progress to stakeholders.<BR><BR>Qualifications include:<BR>Deep understanding with SIEM concepts including: development of correlation rules, trending of data, generation of active Dashboards, and business reports<BR>Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using skills around: analyzing complex data sets, understanding how to process them through automation, and how to ingest these into other systems<BR>Demonstrated coding/scripting skills - preferred technologies include PowerShell and .NET languages<BR>Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies to support the business.<BR>Demonstrated critical thinking skills; familiar with tools for structured decision making.<BR>Able to form working relationships and drive alignment with diverse stakeholders.<BR>Excellent written and oral communication skills; can effectively communicate complex technical concepts.<BR>Able to drive multiple parallel projects in different phases at the same time.<BR>Seven or more years'' experience in large-scale Internet service operations.<BR>Experience and understanding of cyber security in one or more of the following disciplines: network engineering, Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, public key infrastructure, web applications.<BR>Certifications in one or more of the following disciplines preferred: networking, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, information security.<BR>Familiarity with MOF or ITIL preferred.<BR>BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.<BR><BR>SC:JP<BR><BR>J2WERPE1                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 </font></td>
