We are currently building the next generation and Surface needs you!<BR><BR>Role & Opportunity:<BR><BR>The Surface development team is looking for a Senior Color Science/ Imaging Engineer with a proven track record to play a critical role in researching and developing the best video quality for Surface, which includes optics, sensor, and image pipeline. The candidate will be a subject matter expert with Color Science, with experience in algorithmic development in MatLab or similar tools. In addition, this position will help investigate ways to improve overall display quality using subject matter expertise.<BR><BR>Responsibilities include:<BR>- Perform characterization and analysis of video quality HW/SW and help on displays as needed<BR>- Prototype algorithms that improve video quality<BR>- Work with partners to deliver the video quality (optics, sensors, ISP, etc.)<BR>- Interface across multiple product development disciplines: Electrical, Software and Mechanical Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing and Program Management.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>M.S. in Imaging Science or similar field, PhD Desired<BR><BR>8+ years of experience in imaging science with direct experience developing algorithms and characterizing video and/or displays<BR><BR>Proven track record in delivering innovation and generating IP<BR><BR>Strong written and verbal communication skills<BR><BR>The candidate must be willing and able to travel (domestic and international) to support related development activities </font></td>
