A major advantage of the cloud to our customer is how quickly they can get and take advantage of the latest and greatest features in SQL.<BR><BR>The SQL Server Database Systems Engineering System/Service Agility team within SQL is tasked with making it possible to deliver new capabilities and service refreshes to our customers as quickly as possible. The days of a developer hitting submit" and knowing their work may be used by customers in a couple of years is gone. Our goal is to have most of the changes made by our developers powering our customers'' workload in about the time it takes to get a cup of coffee. The key to doing this is the engineering tools and frameworks necessary to code, validate, deploy, and monitor in near real time. The SQL Server Database Systems Engineering System/Service Agility team is growing to provide those tools and frameworks.
