The Online Business Operations group is responsible for the strategy and execution of the order to cash processing for Microsoft''s Cloud businesses, Marketplaces and Advertising Operations. This includes licensing, invoicing, communications, and sales business planning. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Microsoft Operations organization as well as to learn about Microsoft products and how they are delivered to MS partners and customers.<BR><BR>We are looking for a strategic thinking, experienced finance professional to partner with the Online Business Operations team and to work across boundaries to understand and impact the long and short term direction and implication of Cloud Transformation on COGS, Ops Resources & MS Profitability. The role includes a high degree of collaboration and will require an understanding of technology and processes as you will partner closely with Operations, IT and the BGs as well as other groups across Microsoft.<BR><BR>This individual will directly support the GM of Online Business Operations and will engage with senior business and finance leaders to deliver insightful financial and analytical support. This includes highlighting business issues and risks, opportunity identification, business strategy guidance and drive profitability improvement across the organization. This position requires strong planning and analytical skills, the ability to communicate and work across multiple teams, and the ability to present and make recommendations to executives. The successful candidate must be action oriented, open to change, thrive in a fast paced environment, enjoy solving moderate to complex problems and seek challenges.<BR><BR>Core Job Responsibilities:<BR>?Lead Global Online Business Ops Finance team which includes a team of professionals located in Redmond, Dublin, Singapore and Reno.<BR>?Direct Finance support for GM Online Business Operations.<BR>?Drive quarterly forecasts, long-range plan, target setting and annual budget with business partners for Online Business COGS.<BR>?Provide financial modeling and intelligence to support key investments. Evaluate financial alternatives and recommend appropriate action by providing data/analysis regarding potential solutions<BR>?In partnership with the Operations team, identify efficiencies and process and system improvements in Online COGS with related cost savings opportunities across Microsoft.<BR>?For new online program launches project manage the building of Operations Finance processes with the necessary business and SOX controls and develop the FP&A support model.
